BROWN AND GOLD MEANING IN HOSPITALITY

BROWN AND GOLD MEANING IN HOSPITALITY

Let’s start with this; I am not a designer.  That said, I have supported designers my entire working life and have observed enough to share the following thoughts.

While charcoal and grey still dominate the corporate and retail segment, brown and gold are perfectly fit to hospitality projects.

The color brown represents reliability and stability.  The color gold represents caring and loving.  Used together, these colors evoke honor and protection.  The feelings these colors create meet our intrinsic desire for safety and shelter.  Want to add another element, try mixing notes of white into your accents.

When searching for brown and gold flooring or wall covering, we urge you to consider the many options of Granorte Cork.  With the technology to both paint and digitally print, you will find a plethora of unique and interesting options.

Of course, wood floors are available in these colors, but keep in mind wood will show indentations and lose appearance retention in the most trafficked parts of your project.  The aforementioned cork products are continually indenting and recovering at the same time, meaning the appearance remains intact regardless of foot traffic.

Many carpets offer these deep tones as well.  Van Besouw offers wool carpet in deeply saturated gold, OBJECT CARPET has too many brown and gold options to mention, but suffice to know they range from tufted to woven to printed, and even have high luster options.  For less used areas, like executive offices or as bespoke fabricated rugs under furniture Jacaranda Carpets offers TENCEL with the aesthetics of silk.

When you work with your hospitality clientele, keep in mind that interior finishes do create feelings and who wouldn’t want to feel stability and protection when they enter their chosen hotel or restaurant.

At Summit International Flooring, we remain in tune to your needs and we look forward to being of service and helping in your continued success
