GRANORTE Features

GRANORTE is the only cork supplier to incorporate MICROBAN® technology into its floating floor systems. Floating cork flooring, which rests above the subfloor without adhesive, creates an air gap that can trap moisture—a potential breeding ground for mold and bacteria. By integrating MICROBAN® into the underside of these floors, GRANORTE offers a proactive solution to microbial growth in moisture-prone areas. Glue-down cork floors, on the other hand, don’t require MICROBAN® due to cork’s natural antimicrobial properties. Regardless of installation method, GRANORTE cork flooring promotes a cleaner, healthier indoor environment.
