What are your responsibilities with Summit International Flooring (SIF)?
One of my main responsibilities with SIF is to provide excellent customer service through constant and effective communication regarding the status of their order and the processing of purchase orders. I also work with our international vendors in Europe, Canada, and China, in order to assess the status of production from start to finish. Furthermore, I coordinate with our logistics company to ensure we handle each shipment with care. Apart from my communicative and relationship-building responsibilities, I also handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, run monthly sales reports, and generate sales commission reports by individual sales representatives. In addition, I assist with general administrative duties whenever they’re needed.
What SIF product are you most excited about today and why?
The OBJECT CARPET FREESTILE collection – bold colors, wild design. What more can I say?!
Any special project(s) you are currently working on?
There’s nothing at this time, but I look forward to the possibility!
What is your back ground? What did you do before SIF?
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts from SUNY at Buffalo State. Prior to coming to SIF, I worked for a costume jewelry company in New York as a Merchandise Manager for 7.5 years.
What is your current obsession?
When I’m not chasing after and raising my two beautiful (and energetic!) boys, I love to grow my own fruits and vegetables for my family. I also love to bake and do different craft projects. Not to mention, I also breed Canaries! I currently have five beautiful canaries and one little green Budgie named Monero. If I have the time after all of this (see note above about two energetic boys), I enjoy taking the time to refine my piano-playing skills. Most people don’t know this, but I’ve been playing the piano since I was five years old!
